I had an job interview this morning in University Park. The interview for a secretary position went well I think and I will hear from them next week. Then I will know if I got the job or not. On Friday I was the first day volunteering by myself. Before Tammy was with me and showed me around. On Friday I did not get any work done because all the patients I wanted to visit were either discharged or could not be found. Don’t ask me why they could not find this one patient [...]

I started last week and I like what I do. That is good because it would be bad if I do not like it. Will go to work again soon…

I got a new job and I will start this morning. Hopefully I am going to like what I do. Let you know more later.

Yesterday was my first day as a volunteer at the Blood Donor Center. I went to the LRMC after school and helped them. There were not that many people there so they had some time for me and I could ask a lot of questions (which I did of course). I will help them again [...]

The HIPAA training still doesn’t work. I am trying since the end of January. It is getting annoying now because it is nearly the only thing I miss before I can start doing my volunteering at red cross. I called the help desk and now I wait that they call me back. Hopefully it won’t [...]

I was at the Blood Donor Center again. But this time I had an appointment. I talked to the lady in charge and then we started doing the paper work. Little by little I will get a red cross volunteer at LRMC in Landstuhl. *yipiieeehh*

I still havn’t heared anything from the blood donor center in Landstuhl. I wonder when I will hear anything from them… Update: I did – see this post.

I am back from the orientation class at Landstuhl. The class was kind of interesting. We watched 2 movies. One was about the history of the american red cross and the other was about volunteering in a military hospital. Then we had to fill out a lot of papers and sign most of them. Afterwards [...]

I will go soon to the orientation class at LRMC. After that I will become a red cross volunteer at LRMC. I don’t know yet what I am going to do over there but I will be fun. I am sure. Let you know more later when I am back.
